Marty Anthony founded Ambler Surgical in 1997 after spending several years in advertisement sales and sales management at a variety of healthcare publications and surgical instrument companies. His vision was to create a leading, forward-thinking, company that was customer-driven and dedicated to improving industry sales practices.

Placing the company’s focus on a few surgical specialties and establishing a competitive advantage with both quality and affordability resulted in an industry leadership position for Ambler Surgical. His commitment to integrity, expertise, value, service and above all convenience, became the core foundation for the company.

The result is a purchasing experience designed completely from the customer’s perspective – the industry’s largest, most advanced, on-line catalog of high-quality specialty instruments combined with honest pricing and unmatched service.

Marty lives in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and has two very energetic boys that keep him on his toes. He enjoys golfing, cycling, traveling, fishing and fine dining.

Tony Kroboth, Vice President of Operations

Tony Kroboth joined Ambler Surgical in 2003 as Vice President of Operations after working in retail sales and membership services. He oversees the day-to-day operations and handles vendor relations, group purchasing contracts, product pricing, and Ambler Surgical’s industry leading online catalog and web site.

Tony is instrumental in the continued development of Ambler Surgical and still personally assists many long-term clients with their instrument needs.

A graduate of DeSales University, Tony holds a BA in Business Administration and BS in Informational Computer Science.

Tony lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania along with his wife and 3 kids. He enjoys golfing, basketball, weightlifting, poker and anything high-tech.
